Cameroon Radio and Television (CRTV), Senior journalist, Amy Banda has been appointed country chair of zero hunger mission in Cameroon

CRTV’s Amy Banda appointed country representative of the G100 zero hunger mission. She was appointed on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 by the founder Dr. Harbeen Arora Rai.

G100 is a global network of influence composed of 100 women leaders across diverse sectors of impact, each accompanied by a He-for-She ally (amale strategic partner). The network was founded by Dr. Harbeen Arora Rai, with the purpose of creating a circle of feminine power with voice and influence worldwide, spanning business, politics, science, technology, culture, education, health, sustainability, and philanthropy.

G100 is a global community of influential women and their allies working together to accelerate change toward a more just, equitable, and prosperous world. G100 has as objective to connect, collaborate, and create global impact on strategic causes such as gender equality, sustainability, and women’s economic and social empowerment.

It also seeks to foster high-level partnerships among governments, the private sector, academia, civil society organisations, and thought leaders. Speaking to KNews after receiving the good news, the Anchor Lady of the flagship programme ‘Action Woman’ on Crtv News which she initiated in 2020 at Crtv West Amy Banda said, she is grateful to the global chair of G100 Zero Hunger Mission, Dr. Karen Lorena Bruges Solorzano for this opportunity to showcase the strength of sister solidarity amongst soul sisters from hundreds of nations.

She will work with the global chair Karen Lorena Bruges Solorzano and other wings to step up the vision, which seeks to foster a worldwide web of women as Soul Sisters Beyond Borders.

With mission to Energise a Million Women by 2022, and 5 Million by 2030, and ethos: Potential in ALL. Possibilities for ALL. Power to ALL, the Senior Journalist who through 254 editions of Action woman since creation in Bafoussam has elevated and celebrated the feminine power in different sectors of activity, promises to take the vision to another dimension.

She has as obligation to work hand in glove with her collaborators in Cameroon to Create chapters / circles / groups of women worldwide. This feminine power must have as Code of Conduct: ALL Positivity, No Negativity, to attain goals knowing alone we strive, but Together we thrive.
