Earlier this year in 2023 she was chosen as Miss Global Cameroon.
HER LIFE AS A PAGEANT
The Miss Global Pageant presents the motivating opportunity to reconnect deeply with her homeland Cameroonian roots. This incredible honor allows a platform of positive attention to her beloved homeland as well as to be the voice for the voiceless debilitated by Period Poverty. Before pageantry and to continue after her reign is the pursuit of her International business degree. During and after her reign as Miss Global Cameroon, she will use her heightened sense of social responsibility to create a non-profit organization to address Period Poverty in West Africa, and especially Cameroon. The principal value pageantry has added to her life is that of humility and gratitude. It is such an honor and responsibility for her to be chosen as Miss Global Cameroon. She has accelerated her mission of starting a non-profit organization, a foundation, she planned to start after graduating college, and she has started working towards it as we speak. She has been given this opportunity to represent her beloved country on an international stage and hope to make a real difference that will make all Cameroonians proud. Since being crowned Miss Global Cameroon, she has organized sanitary product drives at her university to help women affected by Period Poverty, and she is working in conjunction with her community in New York City to host a workshop that educates people on this female epidemic that people don’t talk about. she anticipates an amazing trip ahead and already know that she will be brought to tears of joy. The highlight of this trip she will be having the opportunity to visit orphanages and women’s shelters to speak with them, play with them, and give them the supplies that they need to sustain themselves. Most of all, she aims to fulfil her dream to meet face to face with as many people as possible; to hear their stories and share hers with them, and in so doing, she hopes to be a conduit especially for young girls to realize their dreams.
THE TRIP TO HER FATHERLAND
She left Cameroon at merely 5 years old; a vague memory that passes through her mind regularly. Yet even though this will be her first opportunity to return in 17years, Cameroon has always been in her heart as if she never left. The majority of her family still lives in Cameroon and she kept in touch with them ever since. She speaks four languages and will sease the opportunity of this journey to commune with Cameroonians. She will grant press conferences, will visit many towns and will bring hope to many girls affected by period poverty in those cities.
